When your agent calls

Answer the phone when your agent calls. Do not ask the agent to wait while you look for paper and pen to write down what the agent is saying about the Go-See. Have paper and pen near your cell phone at all times.

If you cannot be available to answer the phone or can't carry a pen with you, then don't try to be a model. Be assured, there are many, many guys who are willing to make the effort of carrying a pen with them and answering the phone. Missing a call is acceptable once in a while, but your agent must call many guys, not just you alone. If you consistently are difficult to get hold of, the agent will call another guy instead of you.

The modeling industry does not cater to your schedule. These professionals are busy. Most fashion modeling jobs are cast within a matter of days. Sometimes jobs are filled in a few hours. Sometimes a casting director will give the job to the first male model's agent who calls back to confirm that their model is available.

While talking to the agent, you need to obtain all the information about the modeling job and the Go-See.

The 24-year-old looked to be having a ball as editorial models she joked around with the crew during the commercial modeling shoot at an undisclosed location.

A student from Abbots Langley is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Kelly Brook after being selected for a national modeling competition.

Honey Honar, of Upper Highway, is hoping to get to the next stage of the UK Bikini models competition with the help of her local community.

Honey is currently in the July heat of the beauty contest and needs the public’s vote to get her through to the final in October, when a panel of judges will decide the ultimate winner.

The 22-year-old interior design student hopes the competition will help her fulfil her life's ambition - securing a professional advertisement modeling contract.

Honey said: I’ve always wanted to be a model but it’s only as I’ve got older that I’ve realised that I have got what it takes because of my hourglass figure.

I’ve always wanted a career that would make me happy and also enable me to travel the world and meet lots of different people - and modelling would do just that.

The glamourpuss added: Not only would this competition kick start my career but it would be something quite special as during my school years I never thought much of myself so I’d be really proud.

Honey was selected for the heats after attending a photo shoot organised by London modelling agency Muse Management.

She added: I am a girly girl and love to dress up and get glammed up. For these reasons and because everyone tells me I have what it takes I have decided to put my foot in the doorstep of glamour modelling and this competition could be the key to help me make it.

The lucky winner will be signed to Muse Management and will be whisked off to a secret exotic location to be photographed for a calendar next year.
